A leading security tech company is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide technical leadership and to play a highly influential role in the early framing of the next generation of defense solutions
Enthusiasm, Strategic and creative thinking are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we’d like to meet you
Responsibilities
Determine and lead the 5-year Technology roadmap, architecture, and standards
Lead technology initiatives and improvements that yield competitive advantage
Advocate and communicate technology capabilities internally and externally, including management, customers, partners, and investors
+5 years hands-on experience with Micro Services Architecture, Distributed Systems
+5 years hands-on experience with .NET development, C#
+3 years of experience with non-SQL databases (Elastic, Mongo, Cassandra, etc) and message buses (Kafka, ZeroMQ, HiveMQ, RabbitMQ, etc)
+3 years of experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
Proven track record in innovation strategy
Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
Understanding of budgets and business-planning
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership and organizational abilities
Strong design, architecture, and problem-solving skills
Strategic thinking
High level of consumer advocacy for technology potential
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Bonuses
MBA or other relevant graduate degree
Experience in private clouds
Experience with Command & Control Systems- Big advantage
Valid Security Clearance – Big advantage
