🎯 Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Gherkin, Python, and Cypress, as well as a solid understanding of operating systems, system architecture, databases, and file systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, automation, and continuous improvement, and will have a proven ability to troubleshoot and isolate complex issues across the software stack.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Cypress
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define BDD scenarios using Gherkin
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and deployment
Perform root cause analysis and isolate issues across application layers, including OS, database, and file systems
Validate system performance, reliability, and scalability through automated testing
Maintain and evolve the automation framework to support new features and technologies
Document test strategies, test cases, and test results in a clear and structured manner
Participate in code reviews and contribute to QA best practices
✅ Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in automation testing
Strong hands-on experience with Python and Cypress
Proficiency in writing BDD test scenarios using Gherkin
Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows), system architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and file systems
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues across different layers of the tech stack
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
