About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D Hardware team.
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the mechanical design and development of new products — from concept through detailed design, validation, and mass production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and innovation.
Your day-to-day will include:
🔧 Designing complex electronic enclosures and mechanical parts (plastic, rubber, metal)
📐 Creating 2D/3D technical drawings, tolerance analyses, and full documentation
🏭 Supporting production lines in Israel and abroad, including troubleshooting and factory visits
🤝 Collaborating with hardware, engineering, compliance, and quality teams
🧪 Planning and executing mechanical and environmental tests to drive product improvements
Requirements
✨ B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics – must
✨ 5–7 years of proven experience in mechanical design with SOLIDWORKS – must
✨ Hands-on experience with plastic part design & injection molding – must
✨ Strong background in multidisciplinary systems (plastics, sheet metal, CNC, rubber, PCBs) – must
✨ Independent, creative problem-solver and strong team player
✨ Experience working with subcontractors & manufacturing facilities (Israel & abroad)
✨ High-level English skills
Nice to Have
⭐ Experience with GD&T standards
⭐ Background in acoustic systems (e.g., resonance boxes)
⭐ Experience in optical/IR systems (light guides, lenses)
