Primary Responsibilities:
The DevOps Team Lead engineer/SCM engineer’s responsibility encompasses building, packaging and deployment of all aspects of the delivered solutions across all multiple live branches.
Managing requests and priorities from multiple teams
Work with developers to identify and resolve build or deployment problems
Manage the automated commit stage build including unit test execution, quality metrics calculation and publishing
Innovate & continue to improve quality and efficiency of the build and deployment process
Required Qualifications:
5 years or more in DevOps / Software Configuration Management - MUST
Managerial experience in leading DevOps team (2+ years) - MUST
Extensive expertise in working and scripting in Linux environments – MUST Windows advantage.
Strong experience with network management
Kubernetes experience - MUST
Expertise with CI & Dev Ops tools such as: Harness, CircleCI, Jenkins, Docker , Kubernetes
Expertise with deploying and managing application on GCP, Azure or AWS
Experience with virtualization tools such as: VMWare, Xen
Experience in one or more of SCM solutions: GitHub, TFS source control or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of Scrum & Agile development principles & methodologies
Experience with Python, .NET Core, NodeJS.
Basic DBA experience with NoSql (MongoDB, CouchDB)
